Overview of a production hall with industrial equipment

For production companies

For production companies that need to keep existing installations running.

GCG resolves faults, modernizes outdated controls, extends installations and makes production data available, without replacing the running machine.

The technical reality

Questions about the installation.

  1. An outdated PLC or HMI is no longer available (obsolescence) and needs replacing without changing the rest of the installation.

  2. Unexplained downtime costs money and the in-house team lacks the time or PLC knowledge to dig deeper.

  3. Management wants to see production data (OEE, faults, cycle times), but the installation doesn't talk to IT.

What GCG does

  1. PLC migration and retrofit

First assess which controls, I/O and drives need replacing and which mechanical parts can be retained. Cost and downtime follow from that assessment.

  2. Fault diagnosis and service

PLC, HMI, and electrical troubleshooting on existing installations, including brands GCG didn't originally program.

  3. Extensions and HMI changes

Adding extra I/O, new stations, or changed operator screens to a running line.

  4. Production data via OPC UA/MQTT

We can build production records, fault histories and dashboards and exchange data with ERP/MES through APIs. Our software and automation engineers jointly determine which signals, order data and feedback are needed.
